​Mamatoto Village Wellness
Center​​
The Wellness Center at Mamatoto Village is designed to support, educate, and empower women and families through their transition to parenthood.
By augmenting traditional maternal health care with holistic services, which recognize a woman’s and her families emotional needs, as well as her physical needs, Mamatoto Village provides a deeper level of comprehensive care to:

prevent negative birth experiences

increase perinatal health

reduce late-pregnancy complications

improve parenting skills
-
lead children and families to life-long wellness.
A variety of fitness programs are offered on a complimentary or sliding scale basis. Our efforts are focused on maintaing a healthy pregnancy, reducing pregnancy related complications such as diabetes and preeclampsia, obsesity awareness and prevention, and promoting healthy nutrition.

MENTAL WELLNESS
Sliding scale counseling services are offered to individuals, couples and families. We utilize a strength based approach, to guide individuals and families through an exploration of feelings, expectations, and experiences. Individuals & couples will leave better prepared for all the changes that are a part of establishing a new-normal, with children. Group sessions are offered on a bi-monthly basis. The Wellness Kitchen

FAMILY WELLNESS
Quarterly workshops, facilitated by guest presenters, are offered at a free or reduce cost to families within the community. Topics range from nutrition, bullying, vaccinations, children's health, and obesity prevention to talking with teens about sex.
Perinatal fitness provides life-long benefits for mom and baby. Join us for our new mothers prenatal and postpartum exercise group Belly Strides. A free class designed to meet your goals of enhancing edurance, improving overall mood, strength and flexibility pre and post baby. Come out and move!
Provides monthly nutrition and wellness workshops from topics ranging from introducing solids, healthy lunch options, screen time for children, to creating your own natural hair products and boosting your immunty naturally. Workshop topics are beneficial for the entire family.
Transition to Parenthood-6 week Prenatal Support Group
Group sessions focus on changes in identity, changes in the couple relationship, and increasing and enhancing communication skills. Each session explores the normal range of changes to expect during pregnancy, with the goal of enhancing your knowledge and confidence as a parent and partner and facilitate prenatal bonding with baby.
New Mothers Support Group
Congratulations, you are a Mama...now what? Meet other new mothers at our 6-week long support group to share the joys and challenges of parenting the newborn or of parenting again. Each week will start with a different topic that's important to you and your continued success at navigating motherhood.
Babies are always welcome.
Transition to Parenthood-6 week Postpartum Support Group
Participants explore the complex range of emotions of parenthood. Topics include adjusting to the identity of new mother and father; how our own life experiences influence our parenting; how becoming a parent affects partner relationships; communication skills, and enhancing the emotional and cognitive development of the baby.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Warm Line
Providing 24-hour anonymous preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum support, information and resources to women and their partners regarding topics of pregnancy concerns and complications, depression, abuse, fertility, reproductive issues, relationships, parenting, breastfeeding, and more. Chat is available during limited hours. All emails will receive a response within 24 hours.​
