Village Birth Co-op

 

​We are certified and professionally trained doulas and experienced Childbirth Educators, mothers, and breastfeeding consultants offering a variety of birth and postpartum services to women and their families throughout the DC Metro Area including NoVA. 

 

We provide support for Pregnant Teens, Married/Domestic Partners, LGBT couples, VBACs, Survivors of Abuse, Single & Surrogate Moms, Adoptions, Military Families, Planned Cesareans, High-Risk Pregnancy, Unassisted (Free)Births, Miscarriages & Stillbirths.

 

We support families of all religious and spiritual practices.

Our intention as birth workers, is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment as you journey to motherhood. Village Birth Co-op believes that every woman and family who wants a doula deserves to have one and we are committed to assisting women in having the birth experience they desire. We strongly believe in informed choice, and informed decision making and therefore offer clients evidence based information to make the best decisions regarding their maternity care. We believe that pregnancy and birth are normal and transformative experiences in a woman’s life. It is our goal to create a safe space where the birthing mother feels empowered by her own courage, intuitive nature, strength and resolve.
